Big cities as London can sometimes feel oppressing and you might want to breathe a bit of fresher air sometimes. Greenwich (pronounced ‘Grenitch’) is a lovely neighborhood in East London that has this relaxing village vibe. You’ll still be very close to the city of London but the atmosphere is completely different. And if you ever plan to go to this area, I suggest you to go in the morning for a delicious brunch at the Green Café. The place is quite small and, since they do not take reservations, you might have to wait a bit in line before getting a table. But I assure you, the wait will totally be worthy! They have a large range of choices going from the full English breakfast to more sophisticated healthy dishes. I tried the ham and cheese omelet, served with a very tasty green salad and black bread, and I really loved it! The prices are more than reasonable, and if you’re not very hungry you can certainly get away with it for less than 6£. Also, the yogurt with the granola bowl looked very inviting, but since I was super full after the omelet I didn’t manage to try it… I’ll have to go back I guess!
